Sound

During this lesson and assigned videos i learned how complex and how much layers are in a soundscape and how to make a layered soundscape. We had to brainstorm a 1-2 minute scene and outline how sound effects would convey the plot, with only seven words maximum allowed. We created the soundscape of a scene using sound effects and four foley sounds. My approach for this project was to take something simple like "walking into a cabin on a stormy night" which is what i chose and then diving deep into the layers of that and making it complex by outline every single minuet detail and layering them on Adobe Premiere Pro. I believe that the layering of all the sounds together was really great but what could be improved was balancing the volume of every sound effect because i think some effects were sort of drowned out and you couldn't really hear them unless you paid close attention to them.
